Paddy's Formal 2024

In my third year of university, I was elected by my peers to be the Social Secretary. This role made me responsible for planning and executing major social events.

One highlight was Paddy’s Formal, held within the St John’s College grounds and attended by 450 paying guests. The event required lengthy planning that began nearly six months in advance.

The night was a huge success and featured:

• Live band music

• Catered food and desserts

• A live fire act show

• Cocktail, beer, and wine bars

• Professional security

• Extensive décor

• An after-party event at an external venue

I was responsible for ensuring all work was completed to the expected high standard, coordinating project team members, budget planning, marketing materials, and stakeholder management.
