Tour

During my university exchange at the University of Edinburgh, I had lots or opportunities to travel around Europe.

A typical walk around some of Europe's most amazing city's normally went like this:

1. "What's that?"

2. "Where do we go now???"

3. "I wish we researched beforehand!"

An idea struck —> What if I could create an on demand digital tour guide that works wherever and whenever?

By combining a lot of digital technologies such as mapping, directions, artificial intelligence and speech synthesisation, I was able to make Tour.

On launch, Tour immediately recognises where you are in the world. Behind the scenes it is using your tailored tour preferences to design a route based upon your interests. On the click of a button, Tour comes alive and begins to direct and speak to you as if you were on your own tour guide.

Personally, I wanted tour to focus on History, Culture and also show me some famous Film & TV shooting spots; I also only wanted to walk for about an hour. It was so convenient and a huge hit amongst my friends.
